ACCORDING TO BROKER SUPPORT @ 10:10am ON 11/19/18, IF YOU SEND A CLIENT YOUR LINK (start & send application), THEN CLIENT WILL BE YOURS - YOU DON'T NEED BOR.
Make sure you can provide service to all of your customers by submitting a broker of record change request any time you need to make an update. Here’s how:
1. Download
your broker of record change request form
on
Producer Services here.
2. Complete the form, noting the following:
o Direct enrollment with Blue Shield: An agency or individual can be requested as broker of record.
o
Enrollment through Covered California: You
can designate only individual Covered California Certified Insurance Agents as
the broker of record. If you list an agency instead of an individual, Covered
California will not accept it.
Send your broker of record change request to Blue Shield at producer.services@blueshieldca.com for processing. To make sure you are paid correctly, it is important to include “Broker of Record” in the subject line.
